I. Want.

The Emporer Work Station by NovelQuest.

Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battlestation.

Hey, Shipwreck: Episode 2-06

Episode 2-06 is uploaded and ready for viewing, and before any Twilight fans get too pissed, I just want to point out that Petty Officer Finney wins the Pro-Twilight argument...

Also, check out the Hartford Video Games Examiner! This video game news blog is written by Petty Officer Brian Browne, an FT Instructor out in Groton and Maddenoholic currently refusing treatment. His latest story is about the USS John C. Stennis getting its very own Golden Tee golf arcade machine, the most popular barroom video game in history. The creators of the Golden Tee were also invited to ride the ship during its transit from Bremerton to San Dog, and they are documenting the trip on their blog. You can also read Brian's video game news entries at GamingTruth.com.

And Friday is my last day at this command. Have I mentioned that already?

More Hot Sauce Drama

11JAN09:

This was sent to me by a former depper who is in A School out there in Groton:

Sent to me by ETSN/SU Jeff (former depper) from the Dolph Inn galley in Groton

The same depper has also informed me that I have been sighted multiple times out there in Connecticut, and I actually have not stepped foot in Groton since I graduated from BESS in 2000. The closest I've been was in 2004 when I was still on the Georgia. We piloted in through Block Island Sound to New London Harbor for a perstrans, an unexpected operation that cancelled our portcall in Italy, so the fond memories just abound.

Yet another creative way to be a smartass

09JAN09:

So, here's a hypothetical situation: A co-worker comes up to you and asks a simple question like, "When does season 5 of Lost start up?" You then e-mail this co-worker the following link:

Here you go!

You then twirl your imaginary handlebar moustache.

Here is the main site where you generate your links:

Let Me Google That For You

Go there. It is self explanatory and cracks me up every time.

I almost forgot...

07JAN09: So, yesterday I got the new episode up, and coincidently three years ago yesterday was the day I transferred off the Georgia. If only I could go back and warn Young Pat as he was skipping off the brow, whistling effing dixie! But, alas, I cannot.

I remember being so happy and optimistic of the future! Much like I feel right now...hmmmm...

Hey, Shipwreck: Episode 2-05

Happy New Year! I just uploaded the new episode, and I hope you enjoy it.

I'm backed up on e-mail again, but I will get to your messages as quickly as I can! I have gotten lots of ideas for Join the Navy*, and please keep them coming.

Some updates: I will be officially transferring from recruiting on 16JAN09! I sometimes stop and wish I could have the last three years of my life back, but it was for the best, because now...well, you'll see.

I will be moving the studio into its first office in Kingston, WA on the 26th. For those of you around other parts of the planet, Kingston is about twenty minutes north of Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor. I will be updating the site with more information about the office this week. Thanks to all the Fan Sponsors that are helping me pay the bills! *hint*hint*givememoney*cough*please*

I am working hard on Hey, Shipwreck to get the Second Season DVD out by the end of March, which will also help with the bills.

My return to the "Actual Navy" (as opposed to the "Contrived Navy") also means that I will be able to supply DVD's to the locals there in Kitsap County. After the 26th, shoot me an e-mail and we'll do some bid-ness. Rec committees, I can supply t-shirts and hats and mugs and all that good stuff too!

As for my orders, I will be at Trident Training Facility in Bangor for C School from JAN09 to NOV09 (that's right: November 2009). I will get to experience what shore duty is really supposed to feel like! Yay! I will pick orders to a boat there around April timeframe, as far as I have been informed.

Anyhoo, this month is going to be pretty busy for me, but things are looking way up and I look forward to making this a great year. Oh, yeah, isn't there also some sort of exam for advancement next week too...?

-Pat
